This year The Grand County Advocates are encouraging local businesses & organizations to incorporate purple lighting into their storefronts\, windows\, and/or public displays during the month of October to demonstrate solidarity and commitment to ending domestic violence in Grand County. Purple\, the national color for Domestic Violence Awareness\, represents a symbol of strength\, support\, and awareness. This simple yet impactful gesture not only enhances community visibility for the cause but also fosters a culture of compassion and advocacy. Lights\, infographics\, and handouts will be provided free of cost. If you are a local business or organization and would like to participate\, please fill out this short form or email Kayla at kdorney@gcadvocates.org for more information.
